Reading codes?
I have a 92 Ford Ranger with an 3.0, and auto trans. The check engine lights goes on and off. Is there a way to retrieve the code with out taking it to the shop? And if there is, how do I convert it so I know what is wrong?
A 92 Ranger still has an EEC 4 engine management system, most parts stores don't retrieve codes on this system since it is too old, they stick to 96 and up OBD 2 car and trucks. This system can be diagnosed without a scanner but i would recommend buying
